On November 5, 2017, 2,000 volunteers contributed to the reforestation of Lebanon. Together with Live Lebanon, partners, and the LRI (Lebanon reforestation initiative), they managed to plant 5,000 trees.
Planting new trees can help to reduce the amount of CO2 in the air as well as major contributors to climate change. In addition to benefiting the climate, reforestation helps protect important species of animals.
