How it began
The project’s aim is to help realise the objective of women’s empowerment by supporting women to be active in their communities and earn a sense of accomplishment. These women can now generate income, which provides them with independent and a sense of self-support - thus strengthening their roles within their households and society.
How it worked
Live Lebanon provided the Nijmet Al Sobh Cooperative with high-end boilers for their kitchen, and a van to transport their products to Beirut to enhance their productivity and net profit.
