How it began
The Maarouf Saad Nursery has not undergone any rehabilitation since its establishment in 1982. The playground, kitchen, and toilets are in extremely bad conditions. This causes the food that is served to the children of Sidon to be of a low quality. The poor state of these facilities is a serious threat to the children’s safety. Moreover, children don’t have access to the playground.
How it worked
The project supported the rehabilitation of the nursery’s playground, kitchen and toilets. New roofs and a complete new kitchen have been constructed along with toilets that have replaced the old, unused ones.
